I realize chances are this won't be read by anyone with the power to change anything, but still....

Dear PGI stop bringing back game modes most people don't like: incursion, conquest, scouting (if people wanted to see who's better at running around they'd play a racing game or qp)

And bring back counter attack! We need more siege!

make a separate que for conquest/incursion/domination/scouting, if some people enjoy running around in mechs fine, let them

why force people who want to fight with robots to run around, shoot at buildings, stand in squares and stand in a pool of yellow....w/e the domination circle is

Conquest just needs a higher point count to win.
Scouting should go back to being a seperate mode and something done to fix smoke diving. Have to clear an area of enemies before being able to leave, dropship doesn't have weapons, enemy knows where the dropship is, stuff like that. Or just get rid of the point collection entirely, change it to you have some intel but in order to collect the rest you must destroy the defenders and the defenders must destroy you to get back what intel you have. Or whatever, I don't really care what the reason is, just promote fighting some how.
Also to help things like scouting, group play, or faction during low pop times, we should have an option for selecting whatever modes you want with preferences and then the game will search all the modes and give you a game. So if you want scouting and are in a 4man you would select all the modes with scouting being top and the MM will look for scouting for a while but if nothing is found then it will check FP and GP for a match.

Honestly I would like counter back but keep conquest, keep it at 1250 and make people move around a bit. There are a lot of matches that are super static and involve almost no movement at all.

Even matches that go to 1250v1249 only take like 15 minutes. They could bump it to 1500 or 1750 and you would still need to worry about cap. Time wise you could go even higher but it might be enough to just focus mechs and then cap but I think 1750 would be a good spot to try.
They could also make flipped cap points stay neutral longer, iirc they used to a long time ago. Basically the first time a point is capped, capping more blue, and uncapping red can take the same amount of time but the amount of time a red cap stays neutral when getting flipped to blue could be longer. This would make fought over caps not give points as often and would slow the cap rate of the game down. It would also make you have to decide between just uncapping a point and leaving or risking staying longer to cap it more of a choice and also potentially slow the cap rate down. Might make spectated comp games less exciting with a back and forth on a cap but then again who can break the stalemate would replace it.

Assault is FP is pointless...

Conquest is by far my favorite game mode, haven't had the oppertunity to try it in FP.

Seige, I do like it, offensive and deffensive...

Skirmish, why?

Domination, as I always say, F*** that pee stain!

Escort, haven't played it, sounds like I'd like it though.

Haven't played scouting yet either! Clueless...

I like the idea of longer flips, but I'd still leave it at 1250. With longer flips, you would get longer matches even at 1250 and need to make choices about defending caps or rolling on to kill mechs. As long as conquest is kept at 25% or less of matches per phase I like it as a change of pace. Personally, I'd just go with every phase having skirmish, siege, counter attack and conquest but that's my taste. Others may like certain modes that I'd happily dump.
