no it doesn't, there is absolutely no reason to take the timberwolf over other clan heavies, it's just worse in every way

if you want to do gauss + lasers for the same exact weight you can run 2 gauss rifles 4 lasers on the night gyr

On top of other mechs that need to be revisited like the Nova Cat and Night Gyr. I feel bad for the people that had their favorite mechs completely butchered by nerfs.

pretty much all the good clan mechs were nerfed to oblivion. kodiak, direwolf, timberwolf, night gyr, etc

i still like the night gyr though, its like a bas-b

Just look at the Huggin. It was once a powerhouse (and yes, with the old hitreg op) and then I guess it was at least 10 times directly or indirectly nerfed. Now, it is trash tier level.
