these led bulbs trickle power compared to ye olde lightbulbs of olde. im running 8 watt led bulbs, equivalent to 60w incandescent. and its peanuts to what it costs to heat the place.
and were not talking 24 hours, just one.

We´re wasting way too much energy, and while I appreciate the savings LED´s generate, its still just a drop in the ocean

Okay, we went from I hate the time change to wasting energy. And this is why we can't get rid of the stupid thing is because people can't stay on topic. Think it's bad here on the forums, try congress. Gonna be stuck with the freaking thing until the next decade at this rate.

Heck... A pandemic comes along, and we can't get DST killed. People have scientifically researched DST and the negative effects on human health (both mentally and physically), and still the blasted DST isn't put an end to.
I think the only way that DST will ever be stopped is either if half the people on this planet die specifically because of it en-masse, or it just totally becomes unprofitable in the corporate business systems of the world. Damnit all... It just makes me so angry that it would possibly have to go as far as a conspiracy theory actually happening to cause a positive change in the world!!!
~Mr. D. V. "Yes, I'm also sick of how zombifying that DST is on the better parts of humanity." Devnull
