Situation now:
New Players in MWO can only use Trial Mechs. Trial Mechs are choosen by PGI from the pool of Champion Mechs and are not skilled.

Most Champion Mechs are ill suited for new players:
Many of those Mechs carry weapons hard to use for new players like Gauss Rifles or PPCs with minimum range.
Many of those Mechs have IS XL-Engines or even limbs with downsized armor, making them rather squishy.
Most Mechs don't have AMS or CASE
All this Mechs lack the Skill Nodes in Survival and Sensors needed to substain in MWO: no radar derp, no armor hardening...

Suggestion:
Using Cadet Mechs as Trial Mechs.

Defention of Cadet Mech:
Mech is based on a existing Chassis
Suffix (T) on the Short Name of the Mech
Can't be changed & skilled in Mech Lab
Can't be buyed with MCs or C-Bills
Don't earn XPs

Are build for survival (no IS XL, but with AMS and CASE if needed) and easy to use weapons (no Gauss Rifles, no PPCs with minimum range, instead low heat weapons & plenty of double heat sinks...).
Are fully skilled with focus on survival (Armor nodes, Radar Derp)...
Are build on iconic Mechs like the Timber Wolf or Marauder to bait new players.

Improvment:
Better game expierience for new players.
