Im new to this game and just bought myself a Warhammer WHM-6R and im having trouble equipping the weapons I want on it. For instance, my right arm is equipped with a standard heat sink and a ppc, I want to replace those with 2 medium lasers and a double heat sink. Problem is Its not letting me equip more then 1 medium laser. Am I missing something?

Hey, welcome to the game. You are overlooking that mechs have specific hardpoints. So your 6R can put one energy weapon in each arm because it has one energy hardpoint in each arm. You'll see a list of hardpoints in the description of each mech. Possible hardpoints are:
- Energy
- Missile
- Ballistic
- AMS (anti-missile system)
- ECM (electronic counter measures)
EDIT: Wanted to add all gauss weapons have a charge mechanic in this game, so you'll want to practice that a bit in training grounds and get used to the mechanic. Basically you hold down until the weapon is charged and release when you want to fire. There's a sound cue telling when it is fully charged, and the little box near your crosshair for the corresponding weapon group will be green when charged.

Every 'Mech have specific number and specific locations for weapons and devices.
You can only put weapon, AMS system or ECM system in the part with appropriate icon, and no more than number near the icon. In your case, 6R have only 1 energy hardpoint in the arm, so you cannot place more than one energy weapon here. Pay attention to the hardpoints on the 'Mech, they are very important.
You can place ammuniton, heatsinks, targeting computer, beagle probe and MASC system in any slot of your 'Mech.
You can place jump jets in any torso or leg slot.
You can only place CASE protection in the side torsos.
You can only put weapon, AMS system or ECM system in the part with appropriate icon, and no more than number near the icon. And mech geometry and quirks are rly important. Best u think about a role or weapon load out u want to drive an people can give u tipps for good chassis. Otherwise u might end up with lots of CB waisted, for something the mech just can't do good (u earn fAAaAAAAR less after your cadet phase).

For a Warhammer variant with dual energy hardpoints in arms, you want the 4L or 6D - and between them, the 6D is the better energy boat.
