I have experienced this myself, and it IS an annoying Bug. Thankfully, this ONLY happens with the Clan OmniMechs when you're in the MechLab area. Take it to the Testing Grounds and come back. That should fix your issue temporarily. :)

Heck, you might even want to file a Bug Report about it over in the appropriate spot! :o
