King Kong vs Godzilla 1964

The movie follows along as if it's a U.N. news cast. Just as a sub strikes an Ice Berg and sets Godzilla free, King Kong defends a village from a giant octopus. Kong gets drunk and ends up on a raft while Godzilla rampages Japan. After Godzilla wrecks a train and drives off Kong, the army makes a pit trap for the big lizard. When Kong goes ape over a woman and gets knocked out again, he is air lifted by balloon to once more fight Godzilla. All seems lost for Kong until he is hit by lightning and comes back to drive Godzilla back into the sea.
