Joining Mercenary Faction?

Hey all!

So last time I played this game (a while back) I could accept contracts as a freelancer, fight for any faction, and increase my Mercenary faction loyalty points via the Faction reputation page.

How do I continue this in 2020? I cannot seem to increase my loyalty points in the mercenary faction? Thanks!
