really ? a 2 minute penalty after getting dropped at the start of the match. Ok , fine, maybe I will be alive after that 2 minutes and help my team mates. Ok I am finally in, steal a kill we win.. oh look, I get a message that says 'rejoins after 2 minutes do not get rewards'.
Guess what I am thinking.

You'll only get a 2-minute penalty if it's not the first penalty you got this day.

I got that penalty too, but then I realized I was trying to start a new match instead of rejoining. There is no penalty to rejoin that I've seen.
