1) For the Grenade Launcher, I was thinking it would be a Ballistic slot weapon That arcs in the air, And the Projectile would have a Similar Effect to a single shell of artillery.
I'm not sure on what the Stats would be For Balance. What do you guys think?
2) For the Melee weapons, I was thinking of having it so every mech that has Hands, Can equip in that hand a melee weapon Based on the Mech Max Tonnage. I was thinking that Melee weapons can be destroyed Separately from your Mech. And has a HP Value of maybe that of an arm. If you Equip a Melee weapon. You can then Hit a Button to attack with your said melee weapon. Your Mech will then Use an Animation to swing your melee weapon where you or your arms are Pointing. My Idea is, That you can't knock down a mech. But you can use the Melee weapon to damage a Mech. Melee weapons don't take damage from Impacting some thing. But they do take damage from weapons fire of any other kind.
What do you guys think? About melee weapons? Do you have any thoughts or Ideas on how they could be Implemented in to the game?
