MWO and MW5, the made piloting a mech very easy. Wonder why PGI didn't apply "Battletech neurohelmet" in MWO, or even in MW5. Once you put on that Helmet, you are the mech assigned to. The more heat, damage the more critical to pilot the mech. And also, you can not pilot other mechs with out coding. Would think, the hotter, damage the mech is. Would see the screen (vision), would sorta blackout, fuzzy fonts, and make the visual very difficult. Older Mechwarrior games had some of this.

When I remember how long it took to enable individual keybinding for the mouse wheel, a neurohelmet may be a bit too sophisticated for their programmers.
But nice try í ½í±í ½í±í ½í±.

Haveing an accurate representation of heat and target convergance would allready make this game very different.
Just imagne all the redlining mechs we have would hit lessand get slower while a mixed build could fallback to other weapons or have different weapons for different ranges....etc.
But there has been enough people shouting out against such things with "How dare you take away my pinpoint accuracy" or "What heat makes me slower? But I want to keep on dakka"

If it was applied, would think pilots would have more control over heat, a lot better. We see a lot of suicides, by over heating. If the brain knew when to say, "Hey, slow down, this hurts"

Then look at the modding people. I bet if they would open up there would be people that crack the case....but we had the open discussion allready so we won't see anything anytime soon until some MW5 dudes workout how to turn MW5 into MWO 2.0

Hi Nesutizale
Yes , of course, the Modding scene is big ...sadly nothing interest by PGIs Staff for a Cooperation ...MWO is only Russ and brians Thing, his Dream, his Baby ...Russ a little like Elon Musk and Tesla
