Fall, seasons change. It's the one time of year that is really great.

Cooler temps, leaves changing color, it's just freaking great.

not here, it usually means 10 months of rain, and after a record breaking rainy summer. some snow, but mostly rain.

Unless a couple of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders are willing to join me, I think I prefer the desert....lol. Gila Monsters, scorpions, and red ants to deter the Area 51 campers as they set up their tent over a nest of the little buggers.

i used to live in phoenix, so i know all that. was never the climate that bugged me, its all the damn cars. that never ending white noise you hear at all hours of the day. its maddening. urban living is not for me.

I have to agree that the traffic is horrible in and around Phoenix, but at least you don't have the smell associated with the stock yards heading into Austin or perhaps it was Dallas Texas--sitting in slow traffic trying to breathe.

Some of the smaller towns out in the desert are not that bad.

Then you have the fall colors of the Ozarks, makes the drive worth it.
