I am assuming this means this is the year that the server selection bug will be addressed as a top priority!

What the community is dying for is content....any word on doing literally anything on that front. Heck, its been so long I would so much love to buy a (new content) mechpack even...I am that desperate.

Nice to hear at least there is going to be some signs of life behind MWO development.
Just as a side note, and because I know how big of a classic BT fan you are. I hope this would not become another attempt at turning MWO, a pvp semi-fps into classic table top.
Give Phil a call sometimes.. he has good ideas for MWO.

This is a clear indicator that there's some project in the works we don't know about that that will need selling. (*)
PGI hasn't show the best performance among developers and MWO is a monument to missed opportunities and wasted resources yet MWO does exist and has lasted a lot more than most MMO games, so they are not as clueless as some people, out of disappointment, so vocally say. I remain sceptically hopeful.
(*)My bet is they are porting MWO to MW5s engine and re-branding it as MWO2. They do need to really think how to market the new product while not enraging old veterans by stripping them of all progress while at the same time opening paths for revenue. It's not going to be easy from a marketing point of view.

As I see it, you have long standing issues with the platform, creating content, game balance, and player population maintenance. All of these need some investment. No easy answers here, but neglecting any of them will still result in a failure to revive the game.

Do you have ideas of where you'll be starting to look at for improvements or should we all keep shouting random stuff?

Considering that the last development efforts were to recycle old content with the classic maps, and dump a ruined dropship and some snow onto Canyon Network (and burn some eyeballs in the process) I don't expect this to go very far.
So quietly optimistic, but realistically pessimistic.

PGI has failed the MWO community, and bringing in a new manager, well it's just too little, too late at this point.
We need real content, not the "Not even maintenence" patches we've been getting.

I'm just wondering about all the pieces behind it. Where's the new models for new 'Mechs? New maps?
I'm glad to see there's someone willing to talk about to us about new content and that it's Bombadil. Now we need some newsworthy stuff. It's been months, verging on a year now.
