Give option to start with shutdown override on as default.

At least make the option available.

make it a habit to press O while your mech throttles up for the first time

i'd rather have an option to make the warning less noticable prominent

I know I should turn it on.

But, that's irrelevant to having an option to not having to remember it.

well yes, there should be an option to start in override, but dont expect there be any developement time spent on this. it'll happen or it wont, better prepare yourself for the latter.

The joke was that there IS an automatic targeting feature that presses R for you.

since PGI don't play their own game, they don't know that for like 95% of mechs you need to have override on to make sure you don't die shutting down in front of 4 enemies

and since PGI doesn't think you need it, you can't have it

I remember in 99% of drops to hit it right out of the dropship, but that 1% when I don't..........&*^@#&$*^@#$^&*@#$*^&@$# !!!

Just make it a tick box like armlock shouldn't be too hard.

Well I say that but this is an old game made by a small studio so who knows what that code is like. But it would be nice, I have several builds that alpha right at 100% so Im never not running override just like I have builds with all the weapons in the arms so I am never running armlock.

That'd be nice to be able to group weapons while waiting in the drop ship. Sometimes I change loadout and forget to change my weapon groups.

Also to be able to hit F1 for hotkey help while spectating after a QP match , so I remember which key is all, team, and lance chat when I die.
