Quickdraw version - no doors... I always like my missle launchers naked, especially on the Catapult

on edit: shadows removed from top of launcher face
on edit 2: hinge nubs removed from launcher tops

I imagine the doors would protect the missiles from damage while they are not being fired. You wouldnt want your missile going off from a machine gun round to the tip!

Doors? I don't need no stinking DOORS, mayne.

I'm relaxing back at max range on the edge of the map raining missles 24/7 while eating ramen noodles.

but yes in reality you are correct ;)

You should brighten the rocket launchers on top with that exposed version, because there is still the shadow from the "doors". ;)

Nice, maybe you could even delete that thing on the right top corner of it. It looks like part of open/close mechanism for the doors, but it is nice even with them, it's your choice. Thanks for brighting them, BTW. ;)

Now just swap the right one to closed and you are finished. ;)

Great work Dagger, it is going to be interesting to see, what can our repaint artists do with it. ;)

i like the writing on the missile shields. thats always a fun idea. if i had the artistic ability i'd love to have left side: if you can read this. right side: its too late.

Now for the ultimate: Make it a Catapul-K variant. ;)

super quick, super rough mashup just to explore the possibility... with enough time and energy could be done i think

but Catapults don't go "pew pew"... they 'sposed to chuck missles!

I dunno how canon it was, but Mektek made a Catapult spin off that used 2 PPC arms and called it the Katapult.

That "Katapult" would be the Catapult K2. In Instant Action in MW4: Mercs, it's even identified by the targeting computer as "catapultk2".

The arms on this representation of it are a bit bulkier than I expected, which is probably a good thing, considering that it's a heavy mech carrying a pair of PPCs.
