With the new mech coming out this year I hope we get...

The Mongrel (Grendel) is a 45 ton clan mech Heavily produced after the war on Turkey planet. Looking like a remade Centurion-A this thing is fast and has cockpit level weapons with a good chance for a 2nd line brawler along with good skirmish positions. With the shadowcat and iceferret being more poke-n-move mechs, I would love a lore based massive produced mech meant for the other roles.

Prime: 118 kph, 12dhs, 7JJ, 1ERLL, 3ERML, 1ERSL, 1SSRM6 (play it like a clan version of a Centurion-A with JJ!)
A and E: Comes with duel missiles (so if you wanted a fast SRM/ATM and laser skirmisher)
B and C: Ballistic variants (if you wanted a JJ clan version of the centurion)
J: For 3 energy and 3 missiles for giving a variety to that as well.

With the variety skirmisher we need as clan in 45 tons, I would find this a PERFECT clan match for gameplay and fun for all clan mech lovers.

i need a new light. urbie iic would fill the clan role and it would be easy to base it off the is urbie. it would also be vastly popular. i cant imagine anything short of an unobtainium firemoth reach the urbie's level of popularity in the light department.

its probibly going to be the stone rhino though, light combat being what it is.

I second the Urbanmech IIC its a very popular IS mech so the clan equivalent would also sell well.

Shrike would be awesome, but they would have to advance the timeline to the Dark Age.

I'd wager it is the Stone Rhino. Sorry to everyone (myself included) that would prefer something else, but its going to be a monster, offensively anyway.

Only IF they make it as a real Stone rhino! The one eviscerate an Atlas with a single alpha and smoke a cigar while the other assaults grind it with little success? That is OK. A nerfed glass-cannon like literally all omnis (those originally ball-buster demigods of the battlefield, eat IS mechs alive by a dozen, just fer ye to know!)? A fancy hangar queen it would be at best...
