Russ and Paul are not competent enough to be handed the keys to the kingdom.

I would surmise that MWO isn't really that valuable for him.

I'd rather I become a millionaire and buy the IPs from Microsoft, Topps, and Ironwind Metals. Battletech needs to be unified once and for all.
thats how i feel honestly but isnt a realistic solution. Having the community back pgi in buying the IP is.

So many ideas have been proposed, thrown out, advocated, preached ect ect over the years. Some of the nay sayers where at times proponents who attended the round tables, forums, tweets ect ect. After so many burns by Russ and crew it has become a rather bitter stew we all have eaten. Good luck in your quest.

PGI doesn't have enough money to follow through this suggestion. Anything else?

Maybe. But the license is worth very little as is, and microsoft isn't one to sit on its laurels and wait for profit. No they are aggressive badtards. So if we can't wrestle the lP from them, perhaps we can wrestle a studio and more funding to expand mwo, as it only behooves them to make themselves more money.

Licensing the IP is clearly working well for Microsoft. They're getting paid and have to do nothing with an IP they have no interest in working on. There's nothing, short of billions of dollars, that would make Microsoft give up an income source that they don't have to do anything for aside from renegotiate (or more likely, dictate) terms every couple of years.

Yeah, let's let the guys responsible for this garbled attempt at a game be the ones who make them all now and forever.

Why don't they hire the player who fixed MW5 for them?

PGI buys the license off MS
Doesn't actually do anything and PGI still goes bankrupt because of poor decisions
License gets auctioned off
Harmony Gold buys it

@November11th
You can't buy something if the person who owns it doesn't want to sell it. Has MS been shopping around to unload it?

Also you need to keep in mind that on these forums there is a dedicated crowd that don't even play the game that are here just to ***** and moan because PGI hasn't caved into their demands.

Is PGI perfect? NO.

Are these people whinny little ******* that think PGI should cater to every whim they have? YES

atleast i am trying man. God forbid MS buys PGI and solves all of our problems by rounding up the rest of the properties in the IP.
