I can't believe how naive you all were for believe you would actually get something. How many times have they now asked for community feedback and done nothing with it but keep foolish hopes alive.

I usually live by the saying "I'd rather be an optimist who is wrong than a pessimist who is right" and I still believe in that but especially when dealing with other people at some point you got to draw a line and walk way when you realize you are dealing with idiots. I'm walking.

I'm honestly just waiting for MW5, so I can kiss MWO goodbye for mismanagement.

Yeah that's PGI's game as well, but with mods, people can fix their ****. Of course I heard from Navid that MW5 Reloaded won't be compatible upon release to steam due to needing updates -- that means other major mods like MercTech also won't be compatible, which would suck hard.

I'd rather be a pessimist who is wrong, than an optimist who is wrong :) Unfortunately I'm usually a realist who is right :P

Our big news is in ANOTHER podcast. I found this out on Reddit - NOT on MWO's forums! I'd prefer a Community Manager who posted what was going on in the forums like he said he would. Posted Image

Did some one expect more from pgi? Seven nearly eight years of pgi's communication and you suddenly expect pgi to do some thing?

Look at all the people falling for the hype and typing out massive walls of text for stuff that will never even get read, let alone actioned.

They can't even fix the server selection bug, the heat bug or multi drop bug, but people are frothing about expectations of some magic new engine overhaul and community warfare wet dreams. Yeah nah.

Except for the 2+ hour time. Don’t worry, that’ll be next week. Still, 47 minutes to tell us nothing.

The animosity didn't happen over night, PGI well and truly earned people's ire. Personally I am an optimist, but only because it's less stressful than thinking about the sordid truth.

You have to understand something my friend..... you are simply new here (apparently going off of account) Some of us have been here since 2011 continuously being disappointed.

Complaints have been lodged for a long time. Hundreds, if not thousands, of threads here and over on Reddit Outreach telling them EXACTLY what was wrong, and many ideas on how to fix it. Early last month the community put together a document highlighting all those points. Here we are, 5 weeks into them saying they want ideas and are ready to make changes. What has been accomplished?

Let me put this into perspective for you. I have has a long career in IT. I've done full migrations that took less time than them drawing up a plan based on YEARS of input. In fact, my proudest accomplishment was the move of a commodities trading company from a rented space in a isolated building, to a 2 story section of a downtown building. Because they were cheap ********, they were questioning every expense. Right up to 30 days before the owner of the building had told them they were going to lock them out and turn off the power. They were VERY bad tenets, despised by the building owners, and the owners had major plans for the part of the building that was leased.

So, not one contract for cabling, electrical, construction, or equipment was signed. Every vendor was ready to pull out. I was told by the consultant they hired for engineering that there was no way everything would be done on time. NO WAY. It took me giving my two weeks notice for them to finally sign all the contracts.

Less than 30 days later: Raised floor server room built, four network closets built, all network and telco cabling done, raised trading floor built, all electrical done, Liebert A/C purchased and installed (only one, they were too cheap to sign off on redundant), Liebert ATS and UPS purchased and installed, core and data closet Cisco switches purchased, installed and configured.

I organized the electrical installers, telco/networking installers, A/C installers, server room builders, rode CDW's back to get the equipment in with plenty of time for configuration/install. Thankfully, the engineering consultant took the load of building the raised trading floor off my plate. But, all the wiring post install still needed to be organized by me.

We shut everything down at 5PM the Friday the old lease was due to expire, and were 100% back up by 10AM that Saturday.

5 weeks of meetings...and we don't even have a super low hanging fruit patch for this month scheduled. Compare: 30 days and moved a company that up to that point had NOTHING done for the move, except the new furniture they wanted in the executives offices (because THAT was their most major concern)..

What do you mean something I don't know about? We still not going to be talking about what we should be doing for 6 more weeks? Then 3 months after this maybe few xml edits?

I don't know. OP's post is still relevant, especially when the #02 is basically just as the #01.

The list ain't set in stone that PGI can turn-180 from, we're just giving suggestions as before only different thread. The list are there to know what ideas they were looking at, as if that does anything.

Patients, the plan for the plan is almost planned. But remember, nothing is solid as of right now and PGI will surely deliver soon.
