2v2 is better. but having to group up manually makes it hard to find partners and opposing teams. add a simple match maker to unlock the 2v2 mode to people who are too lazy to have friends (most of the player base).
then bring in a 4v4 mode. lots of fp players dont like scouting very much. or they like the 4v4 skirmish and hate smoke diving. so take out that mode and replace it with this one. same rules as 2v2, and with the match maker. make some of the smaller qp maps available.
also any ffa modes would be really fun. last man standing, or 4v4v4v4, or ffa with respawn would all be awesome.
