Logitech Lightspeed is the real deal and makes a huge difference. A normal bluetooth mouse is horrible in comparison. I use a G613 and a G305. Excellent products.

Some of the older wireless worked good too. I had a g700s that worked fine wirelessly and that came out years before lightspeed. However I had another Logitech gaming mouse that didn't. Though it was more of a deadzone issue than delay, and maybe there was a setting to fix it, but I didn't like the side button layout so didn't bother.

i always find logitech to be overpriced and hard to repair.

i kind of want to go down the rabbit hole of making my own mouse from scratch. use an esp32 for bluetooth, and a mouse sensor breakout, and some nice hard switches. and one of those blackberry scrollballs for a mouse wheel. maybe a thumbstick. im getting better with battery management too.

Logitech mice are often pricey, but can often be found with big discounts. I got that g700s for half off, about a few months after it came out.

I had one cheap logitech wired mouse that had great button layout but died after like 6mos. Replacement did to. My G305 is solid. Might try a Razer next time.

I use a Razor Viper with 5 Buttons, and a Razor Tartarus. I don't use a keyboard at all, unless I'm typing...

thats the best way to do it. if you find yourself zoomed out and and an enemy mech in gets close, then all the sudden you are too busy to find the zoom keys so you can zoom out. then you are stuck with tunnel vision trying to find the mech thats shooting you. but its not to hard to spin your wheel and get to whatever zoom level you need.
