Is the game's development path still following as stated this past December?

Following the link below we're introduced to a rich system of faction warfare spanning dozens upon dozens, even hundreds of worlds. While we can't expect these to have unique environments by any means, most using the same maps naturally, the question stands that at this point, is Piranha still following this design path?

And if MWO is still going in this direction, will there be any acceleration in the timeline, or jumps ahead?
The Clan invasion's first wave starts August of this year and there are still a few loud members of the community outspoken in their opinion that the Clan invasion simply will have no impact on the development process, that we'll not be allowed to join the Clans or even pilot Omnimechs (which for many of us are our favored rides, ones that we cut our teeth on in MW2 and its' expansions).

I just bought Legendary today, and I don't feel entitled to answers by any means, I am very supportive and patient, but that doesn't mean I'm not curious.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I believe they have said that Community Warfare is still very much part of the game, but will not be released until sometime after launch. I'm a bit too lazy to dig up the post though.

I'm pretty sure it's devblog zero that covers all this, actually. In short, it's coming but getting a working game out the door was considered more important (rightly) than getting every ambitious design goal in there from day 1.

Wouldn't time line jumps map it more trouble for the game. Trying to leap every1 ahead can have a bad outcome sometimes.
