Germkey is a brass handheld hook like object intended to allow a person to open pull-push doors and other similar objects without having to directly touch the object, and allows the user to push or pull (hook) various items.

While you can't turn a door handle with the Gemkey, or twist off a soda cap, the item is fairly useful, considering the pandemic and for those who just don't like public restrooms (even if someone has not smeared Nutella on the door handle as a prank). I found it at Wal-Mart and while it is intended to protect you from direct contract with germ laden surfaces, I also can think of a few other uses.

Allows you to hook an object away from a hot surface.

As a self-defense tool, it is limited. As a self defense device it is uncomfortable to uses and does not allow for effective strikes, however when it comes to self defense, anything is better than nothing.

As an escape tool, the Germkey will allow you to break glass if you are trapped in a vehicle.

As a Hoolagan Tool - no prints.

As a means o annoying someone. A+
