With the changes made to the Cadet bonus rewards, when can existing players expect to see the updated rewards? I would hate to miss out on the colors / MC / Mech bays just because I was a founder and had already completed the achievements....

You aren't a cadet thus you won't be getting cadet bonuses.

They also said that cadet bonuses would be retroactively applied to new players who had recently completed the 25 battles. I'm well aware of this because my eight year old recently got interested in playing MWO but was disappointed with not getting any paints for their mechs - the early notes on the patch said that the cadet bonus would be applied.

I'd say realistically 6months or less will qualify, as if you've been active in 6+months you probably have built up at least a small pool of MC and 2-5 semi reliable mechs.

Matt mentioned in a Vlog somewhere that he would retroactively add some reward for accounts under 3 or 6 months old.

Not sure if it has been done though.

I feel if you were a cadet a month before the new additions were added they really should retroactively reward them. I know i was told by a player in game that they had not received any rewards and were only a week out of being a cadet..

I said seek support, i have no idea if they did.

I think I've picked up probably $100 or so worth of 'free' useful stuff from events in the last 18 months or so, maximised by buying mech bays and heros during sales. That's not including all the useless cosmetic stuff either.

Except for the premium time, just this current event alone more than covers the cadet bonus, even if you don't sell the free mech.

No matter how much free stuff you give people, someone will always feel entitled to more.

Sometimes that can be the difference between staying and leaving with new customers.. If you miss out and a company wont reimburse why stay with a bad experience..

Op isn't a new customer. Op is a founder from launch. Why should he get a retroactive bonus for new cadets?
