Hello everyone, I am having what seems to be a weird bug with my missiles, be it IS or clan LRMs or ATMs. Sometimes they'll behave normally and fly as they should towards the target, but other times they'll immediately arc upwards and then either
-fan out and impact well past my target
-spiral past missing the target
-will start impacting before the target and keep a line going through and past the target.
I haven't played with missiles much since I've come back and I haven't gone and played a match with them since I've started seeing this happening in the testing grounds. I'll be locked on and not moving with direct line of sight to the target, and the missiles basically yeet out in every direction other than at the target. Sometimes the first salvo will fly normally, then after that it'll be constant "malfunctions" for a few salvos and then I might get one or two normal salvos if I'm lucky.
Has anyone else had this bug and know what might be causing it, or is this a "feature" now and I'll just have to stick to MRMs and SRMs? Thanks for any help with this and good luck on the battlefield.

It doesn’t sound like a feature, no. It could be a bugged mech or a bugged installation. If it’s just one mech this happens to, I’d start by making a change to that mech (even just moving a single point of armor around), save it, and try playing the mech again. If that doesn’t do it, or it’s multiple mechs, try reinstalling MWO.

It's happened on multiple mechs and I just had to reinstall the game to try and diagnose a different bug I was having. I haven't been saving the different loadouts that have been having this bug, but I have tested mechs that didn't have guided missiles on them, and then after putting such missiles on, they had the same bug.

Since it happens often, take a video of it and post it here.
