If you want to encourage people to log in every day, you should have daily events.
I apparently completed The Damage Done even yesterday, and I didn't even know it was happening.

Events should either have larger objectives with big rewards, or they should be daily with small rewards...or maybe both!

Wouldn't help the low population. Slow stale game play and repetitiveness plus all of the fine balance patches makes people want to go play more entertaining games. Games like swtor or dmo have regular events. Dmo particularly has a time based reward system for how long you log in the game and are actively playing;that said dmo is a horrible pay walled and rng filled mess that makes mwo very much better in how free everything in mwo is.

No, but half price sales for things that cost MC with cockpit goodies sprinkled in would get people to buy MC. They gotta be interested in that...

There technically is a sort of daily bonus already in the game--2x xp gain for each mech per win per day.

But no, I don't want daily bonuses. Weekly and Monthly (or seasonal) is good, like what 343 is doing with the Halo MCC now. Most of the playerbase is older and have jobs and families and responsibilities and such.

id play more if there was some way to earn mc outside of the normal events. it doesnt even need to be a lot. there are already 2x xp dailies for first victory for each mech that you own, so to extend these to other prizes. first solo kill 5 mc. 500 damage get 5 gsp. things like that. perhaps a 10x grind buff in fp would make people play it.

They need monthly events and login awards like other online games, events could be daily to complete then at the months end you get rewards etc.
