Gulag artillery update make it even worse, u lose 1/3 of damage but chance to get hit is doubled, also 6 sec its too long and people forced to stand and wait 6 sec for no effort button is too big impact, overall you get hit MORE often than before by strikes, this is buff not nerf. Im not even talking about other things in that test server patch list.

Overall, you just need to understand, how it works. When you see smoke, damage will hit line, directed from enemy player to that smoke. In most cases you're already directed towards enemies, so you just need to make step sideways - not backwards. You have plenty of time to do it. Even if it would hit you - chance of hitting is lower and only one shell usually hits, that deals minor damage.

Arty loses 1/3rd of damage overall but 2/3rd of damage per shell. So it would take 3 shells hitting to equal what one does now. Also the longer duration means you have more time to move out of the strike. So there should be less instances of strikes one shotting lights. And in the current system if someone tells you theres a strike on your anni its probably to late, but with this one you could start moving and only be hit by part of the strike.

Honestly they are just a cheap damage padder, they should be removed or the damage removed from the end game.
