Is the skillgap less in comp, even at the lowest levels?
Compared to soupque?
I think that may have something to do with nascar bean popular.

@OP
we can learn a lot from nature.

There's massive skill gap in comp matches at every division, but people still don't try to spin to win. At lower divs, teams do death ball up and try to just walk over the enemy mechs one at a time, but they somehow manage to do that without picking the nearest large object and running in circles around it. At the high divs, death balls all but disappear. There are extra rules to comp matches involving mech classes, drop weights, and the number of people on a team, but all of the other mechanics are the same. It's even a game mode everyone is familiar with. But no nascar.

I was more interested in the difference in comp game skill gap compared to soup queue and the old pre PSR reset solo queue.

After all the old solo queue with busted MM had T1 players ranging from 50% or less and up to 99.9% on the ole Jarls list.

Do comp matches have 50% players and 99.9% players in the same teams/matches normally.

I think and assume not, but I may be wrong and would like clarification.

(For example I assume most Div A teams would mostly consist of 90% plus Jarls list players.)

That was I am asking, as massive skill gap is relative to something, so I am asking compared to soup or solo queue.

*busted MM = MM before PSR reset but before merge.
