The quirkening era - the golden age of MWO [loving sigh]

Dragon 1N - a lance of us stutter firing AC5's and charging was a sight to behold
Wubverine 6K - A blue pulsing middle finger from the right had of GOD

Huggin - Probably PTW it was so good. Got double hammered by the un-quirkening followed by rescale
BJ-1X - ML vomit was king of FP. So hard to overheat one of those, so hard to kill. I remember 1v1ing 228 at the end of a FP match and dropping 2 of them and stripping the armor from a third before I went down (we lost, zellbregin in effect).
ThunderPPC's and Thunderwubs - remember when thunderbolts were good? ERPPC spam all day

The LPL Locust deserves an honorable mention for being the best distraction on the battlefield. Tiny and could poke hard and fast enough you couldn't ignore it, but could stay far enough away to force the OP into some bad decisions.

Atlas-S deserves a mention because it's the only Atlas I was ever scared of.

there was a centurion variant (don't remember nor care which one exactly) that had a strong cooldown-quirk on ac10.
THAT was a fun mech to pilot. BAM;BAM;BAM! Posted Image

Centurion D. It still has -25% cooldown on LBX/10 autocannons and a lowly 20% on every other ballistic. But it used to be... better! Posted Image

The RVN-4X back when it had -30% laser duration. Being able to get essentially pinpoint damage with double LPLs on a mech with an already excellent peeking profile was so wonderful. You can sort of get close with the skill maze but the timing feels off after doing it so much.

Locust 1V with a 50% (1.5 divisor, effectively 33%) ER LL cooldown reduction. Not overpowered at all, but absolutely effective in the right hands. All of the Locusts found a place, more or less.

Grid Iron and Dragon 1N were also enjoyable to see actually being played. Can you believe they've been in the goofball pile for four years now? Thanks, Chris!

Except the 3V and 1M.

TBQH, I would honestly say the 1V and 3V should each get +2 B hardpoints, but that's not on the table because it's a geo change.

+100% MG RoF for the former and +50% for the latter accomplishes the same thing more or less with no geo changes needed.

And without having to use any slots or tonnage. Not that it risks breaking the game at all, but that was still part of the equation. It's going to need some form of MG quirks even with more actual MGs.

The CPLT-C1(F) when it had 340degree torso twist for a couple months (in error).

One of the Panthers had a really nice ERPPC cooldown once.
