i mean it seems that way the first few games. but eventually they figure out that their builds are trash and that they got to fight as a team and it gets better. a lot better. at least if they want more out of the game than running around in circles in qp.

I have only been back in FW for a few days after a 6 month+ hiatus from it. As much as I enjoyed the old days of grouping 10-12 of my friends and facing off against folks doing the same it seems now like (I could be wrong , as I haven’t been back long) there aren’t going to be too many times were you need more than 6 to secure your priority spot in the queue....so trying to ensure you don’t get bumped looks kinda unnecessary a this point. Plus 10+ mans rolling hard just scare off solos or small groups who know what’s what. I was in a 15-10 queue a couple of days ago (on the 10 side) and figured my 2 man was up against a bigger group. The queue dropped to 5-10 and the immediately back to 16-10 and it was obviously a 10 man who dropped out to pick up an eleventh... seconds later we go to 15-8. A couple of potential defenders obviously also saw that and figured, “11 man...forget this”. I stuck around figuring others would jump back in, but one can really only wait so long before life calls. I get whole playing with friends desire....just rolling with 10-11 other friends (unless they are bad players) seems to aid in killing queues at this point in the games life-cycle. Just seems like this might be the reality we are in. But I just came back, so what do I know....

Yeap this is it.I have brought folk over from QP who have promptly turned around and noped out because it was ALLWAYS a murder group vs pretty much pugs.It doesnt help when one of the best units full of great players has to play like metatards or trolls vs pugs.And trying to let them know, results in the normal online game tardation.Its the same old problem.
I remeber units like 2323 (even us in 420) would do stuff like let pug teams open gates or even just eject their first mechs to give other teams a chance.
Hell we used to split into different groups and pick up pugs and battle each other to make it fair,whilst all staying in team speak so we can still "play with our friends".

Are you sure they're not upset you're DCing all the time and letting your team fight 11 vs 12? You're well known to the FP community as a DCer, I suggest you work on it...

I haven’t been paying attention to all the changes...but looks like maybe the game is headed in a better way, so I will give it a fair shot. It’s always been a fun game, so here’s hoping for better days ahead.
