I am sure that this has been posted before, however just tossing it out there =)

Myself, and the group that I play with would very much appreciate the following simple additions:

1) Hero mechs - please allow us to change the paint scheme on the hero mechs. It really is like punishing us for spending real money on the game.
The extra money earned is fine and all, but really we just like the load out of some of the hero mechs, so we got them, but now we cant paint our mechs to be similar when we run in a goup, and some of the paint jobs on the hero mech are very much not our style (such as fang and flame). Please let us change the paint job on these mechs, at least the colors if not the pattern, however again, I dont know why we need to be punished for spending real money, let us spend more money on re-painting them hehe! =D

2) Please add some bright colors to the game for paint.
Right now, there is no 'blue'
If I wanted to use a blue that was similar to the blue behind the 'Add MC' button in the 'news feed' in the mechlab front page, I cant, because there basally is no blue. There are a couple of shades of dark grey with a minor blue hue. Thats not blue.
Please add further bright colors to the paints, the monochrome washed out grey paints are all a bit much in our opinion.

3) Please add some softer patterns and colors to the mech patterns. This has been requested by the women gamers in my group. They feel that though they don't want pink / etc, some non-overly bland and aggressive looks may be a nice change.

You aren't punished. The paint and colors are part of being the hero mech. Then Yen-Lo-Wang is not the Yen-Lo-Wang without it's paint job.

Hero Mechs are supposed to be original designs. The very fact that there are hundreds of them already detract from that. Allowing the paint to be customized would at least make them a little more original again.

Yes we are being punished in a way. Hero mechs are Hero mech regardless of the paint job. Their name is clearly seen in game so allowing us to change its color or camo patten does not change that fact. Besides that its a bad business model not to allow a customer to spend even more money on what they like. PGI please allow us to change the camo patten or at very lease the color of the patten. Those of us who are members of units/clans want to be able to wear our unit colors in no matter what mech we pick. This also goes for Founders mechs, we need to be able to change the colors or camo pattens on them.

Ugh... Hero mechs are supposed to be UNIQUE anyway. If half the team in a battle is driving a YLW, then why even cling to the notion that their paint job is in some way sacred?

We bought the mechs (Founders included here), we should be able to repaint them; as suggested, at least let us change the colors to match our unit colors.
