I haven't actually bought the game, because it's not on sale -- and still waiting for MercTech, since MW5 Reloaded ain't going to get updated anytime soon.
So question, did PGI made it so that you can make your own lance and variants separate from having to generate a mission in Instant Action, much like HBS Battletech?

You mean something under Instant Action menu for just MechLab?
