[CFC Conky]

Hello all,

Apologies if this has been answered before. Every now and then I get a pop-up in-game that says I've earned such-and-such achievement. Do these confer any benefit or are they just a Steam thing?

P.S. I'm enjoying MW5 much more than I though I would, I'm barely playing MWO these days.

Just a steam thing. I think some of them give you a steam trading card, but for the most part it's just a personal accomplishment thing.

Achievements...well they happen and sometimes its funny what you can achieve but i play a game bcs i like to play it and not bcs it has achievements.

The GoG Version has achievements too...at least when you play via GOG Galaxy...

Some people like having goals to aim for when they do something.

MS has them also.

ive never really liked achievement systems. i feel its useless fluff to make up for a lack of good gameplay.
