Really wish there would be a fix of issues especially serious ones before all the clamoring for 'moar stuff' gets looked at. No point adding to the game if you have problems, so many games died over recent years due to 'moar stuff' taking priority over making the program actually work.

define serious issues. the game is running fine for me. there are bugs but they are hardly game killing. much of the crashes have been caused by mods. there are a few non mod related crashes, but id fathom to guess that they are below minimum spec for the game or have some other issue with their system. it also takes time to do those fixes as the problems crop up, which is why there is going to be a few more bug fix passes. also there is no reason they cant do that while developing the next dlc in parallel. dlc is also how you fund the dev time needed to fix bugs.

I "can't" play it as ray tracing appears non-existent for me. I define that as serious since its the only way I will play the game. But have other games to play so don't really care.
Sure, they have at least one crash fix in the last patch so a lot of people should be crashing less. And other things. But, for whatever reason there are people have more serious things going on where the game is broken to some extent that makes it difficult to play.
I'm happy that you don't see anything with yours lol.
im not sure about the ray tracing thing being broke. it is in the drop ship. but reflections of my mechs in buildings are better than ever. if i had to chose between good rt in the dropship and good reflections in the game actual, im going to chose the latter. when rt worked in the drop ship the game was very sluggish, on what is effectively upper middle tier hardware.
also wondering if old save data is corrupting the settings, that would be something to check, but as i wanted to resume my progress, i didnt want to do that.
still i do not consider ray tracing, should it be borked, to be a serious problem. the game is still playable and rt ray tracing is still kind of an impractical novelty at this point at least as of the 20x series. its going to take more than 2 gpu generations to hammer out all the bugs.

I will say the game is running fine for me on a machine meeting all but 1 minimum spec, my graphics card is slightly below minimum yet just like when I started MWO in 2012 with the exact same conditions, it works.
Examples of serious issues
1 - The missing textures ground textures bug I ran into once so far I reported looking like you walk on air.
2 - The damage imbalance bug, some weapons are stronger than others, gave an example how 2 Mediums Lasers fired together do the same 10 damage as a single AC10 shot but each requires different shot totals to kill a target at full damage range like 70 and 90 meters.
That serious weapon imbalance currently existing and people want Clan stuff WITHOUT fixes, imagine imbalanced Clan weapons coming in on top of existing IS weapon imbalance.
I know people did not mind in previous MW titles but look at MWO history to see why this is bad. Despite not having PvP that is no excuse to ignore this.
There are also obvious weapon imbalances already seen in stats but that assumes stats are honest despite what I described, two weapons doing same damage doing different results.
Are we going to endure years of weapon imbalance in yet another MW title or do we finally say enough?
3 - Times Battlegrid does not reflect terrain properly. Once went into a Glacier Medium map mission, Battlegrid showed a spot near me with a clear pass between two mountain type terrain I could walk through, got there to find a pile of ice blocking any movement except by Jump Jets NOT what Battlegrid showed me.
4 - I did a Respawn issue topic here today, just added something to it another person reminded me of.
Those missions you start without your Dropship on a Small, maybe Medium map, since you have no Dropship start, you get that thing where you stare at your Mechs from outside the cockpit I call, “Hollywood Cool Pose,” mode.
EXCEPT several enemies were spawned right next to you so while you stare at your, "Cool Mech Pose," you also watch enemy bots shoot up your Mech with no chance to fight back, when you are put in your Mech you have existing damage.
I describe how to recreate it in Instant Action and have seen this 1-2 times so far in Campaign Random missions.
That is one of several items I find causing the overall Respawn issues.
5 - No reason for the SRM10 to exist for just 1 vehicle, some may not rate it as serious but it does to me.
6 - PGI approach to testing and going Full Release of MW5 was different than HBS BattleTech.
HBS Beta caught way more bugs than MW5 Beta did if there was even one.
HBS did Kickstarter for funding, PGI went Epic exclusive despite seeing successful HBA approach. You know what happened.
7 - I do not own VR equipment but seeing enough comments about problems with it working properly.
8 - Despite anyone disagreeing, tiny font size and UI issues are considered major not only in this game but in several games both Single Player and PvP. Large number of people getting tired of it and openly stating this alone can cause them to not buy and play games using tiny fonts and having UI issues.
That's enough for now.
