That would be no deal for the Service you switch to but an expense.
Ofc it could motivate you to join/stay and by other products...then it would need to be a kind of promotion offering...

Industry trend now.
- Play a Free-to-Play MMO, you can switch platforms if they offer the product on more than one for no expense usually without issues.
- A pay for product, buy it on one platform, you have to rebuy if transferring to another and might even lose anything you spent time acquiring on the previous platform.
Thus any program you will pay for, put serious thought into paying about which platform you want it on before buying.
