Had this happen to me and a friend of mine yesterday. We both noticed sometimes hitting someone with an AC20 did no damage. We saw this happen a few times. It was most noticeable for me when I shot an undamaged enemy at close range, saw the projectile explode on his Mech but no damage registered.

I asked around in some games earlier and a few people mentioned they had something similar happen, mainly with autocannons.
