No one said you were wrong.

People simply said the Commando was already very strong mobility wise which is entirely true. Thus it received minimal buffs.

More than fair enough since this was a mobility pass. Are there plans for a more comprehensive look at its combat output?

A many others have said...didn’t really need buffs. Pound for pound (ton for ton) it’s one of the better mechs. It excels at harassing heavies and assaults. It’s an amazing distraction mech that will make enemies turn and waste their heat trying to kill. Putting them out of position and heat capped when the enemy main force engages. It’s not the best offensive mech, but because it’s difficult to kill it gets plenty of damage in....plus plenty of backshots (where you don’t need to score a ton to kill a heavy mech. 1 v 1 it’s also a big problem for most pilots to handle with a heavy or assault. A correctly built commando in the hands of a good pilot those little buggers have made many an enemy pilots life miserable.... I truly hate seeing them on the enemy team, because if the pilot is good that mech is likely going to be a pain.

As others have stated, the Commando is already a well rounded mech. Thus, buffs are not needed for the Commando.

Now for my two-cents. The ability to be the fastest mech (second only to MASC mech's) is a nuisance for heavies/assaults. Assaults have notoriously bad turn rates, so being able to maneuver around and through an enemy line is beneficial for the light Commando. As they can then target the backs of their enemies. Looking at most meta builds for Assaults/Heavies, they run less than 20 armor in the back CT. Which essentially means the Commando just needs to land 3 alpha strikes on your back with SRM 6's to strip you of your back armor. Now it's just the structure that needs to be depleted. Which, can be done with patience. If you're an assault or a heavy playing against a Commando, walls are your BEST friends. As you can put your back against the wall and the Commando pilot then has to decide if fighting you is worth it or not as they can no longer target your back CT. However, putting your back against the wall has pulled you away from your teams main force (if you are lagging behind the main force), thus allowing the Commando's team to not have to worry about taking damage from you. Meaning you've just caused your team to be stretched thin. If you start panicking and request help, your teams lights should turn and converge on the Commando because (as others have stated) the Commando is not meant for light vs light fights. They simply don't have the fire power for that kind of fight. However, this does not happen 99% of the time and instead, your teams heavies/assaults will turn around as they will be the closest allies. This causes your team to take alpha's from the Commando's team; in the back. Ultimately, at this point, the Commando has successfully traded 25 tonnes of armor/structure for 75-200 tonnes of armor/structure. Unless the Commando gets spotted and deleted from range. Then, like all other mech's it was a waste of tonnage.

In short, the Commando fits its role perfectly and as a result did not need a buff. That role being, a light fast-moving heavy/assault harasser.
