Or you guys just generally hate the cicada? first time piloting it and theres an physics defying hiccup when moving left and right... its nausea inducing! fix this!

Well, i have the game since a few weeks, played dunno 50 hours and never have used a Cicada bcs their underarmament (2ML 1SL) makes them less useful than a Locust.
Maybe there are better Variants in the game - i have not met them yet...
The games pacing also makes you roll over that tonnage window quite fast...
No wonder to me nobody took care to notice...

I know there is a difference in movement between MWO and MW5.
Seems the same for the Locust.
Maybe later today I will record and try doing a side by side comparison.

Of course we did, but when EVERYTHING is broken...the Cicada is the least of our problems.
