Hi,
I am just wondering how long the infantry mod is out?

Any rough ideas?

No, it was added in today's patch and someone already posted a picture of what Infantry looks like. Seems they have a slight red outline glow.

I'm not seeing any infantry. I've run a few demolition missions and ran around shooting nothing looking for them. No little dudes.

Do I need to do something in addition to applying the patch? Is there a mod I need to download or activate? I've looked in my mods section, the only ones that appear are mine that I already had.

Epic updated the game automatically. now on v1.1.298

EDIT: Found it - had to DL & install it from the Mods section on the Epic store. Sort by newest.

You probably need to activate the mod - on Epic i dont know how bcs i do not use Epic.
On Steam it should be a Workshop item you subscribe for...via the Workshop link from your MW5 Steam Launcher page...

PPS: On Nexus the mod is called "Enable Infantry" so its probably called on Steam too...
And the Mechlab mod/fix is called "Temp Mechlab Equip Fix"...

PPPS: There is also the "Infantry Outline Remover" mod made available on Nexus...

As I recall, even though the Infantry feature is now in game does not mean they start showing up in Missions.

Someone has to design a mod that does something with them for you to see them.

Wow, i dont know if that is the case how many people become frustrated bcs that is not so made clear...

Once you install the mod, activate and restart the game the infantry show up in the missions.

I have started a new heavily modded campaingn and right in the very first Mission in the Javelin i have met infantry and man they be cute...

As they're burning from my lasers... Those "cute" little dudes are all snipers, every-one-of-them! Everytime I hear a "TINK" and see sparks in front of my face it's a headshot sniping infantryman.
I do like them though. They add so much to the game.

There is Rocket Launcher infantry also, they have a different icon above the head.

Nexus has a mod that shows pics of them: Infantry Visual Tweak
