Going through my low XP Mechs, lost on how to build these 3 with the current tech, have not used them since before last batch of new weapons came out.

This 733P is of my oldest designs. Designed to fight right behind the brawl line with direct fire, it can also throw decent indirect fire, and has enough heat dissipation that it rarely needs a time out. Gone are the days when jump jets spun you around real fast, but it still fares okay in a brawl. I also never fight without both Seismic Sensor nodes so I can see the backstabbers coming.
Don’t forget a bagpipe war horn, that’s key.

HGN-732B <-Can run that on the 732 but its better on this one.
HGN-733P <- I do 4 HPPCs and do an XL (because lets face it you either lose all your weapons or all your heat sinks with an LFE) but I modified it to be more "kosher" since people don't like XL Highlanders.

I'll also add my 732B build that is designed to "brawl" at 500 meters range. UAC/5, 3 LL, 2 MRM/10, you have to chain fire the lasers in a protracted fight, but its solid and can dish out decent damage from just behind the brawlers. in my opinion, the Highlander is best at that, as its tough and heavy but its hit boxes and weapon placement aren't the best. So close enough to share armor but with enough range to not be first target!

733P used to be good with 4 large pulse lasers,i guess you could do 2 heavy ppcs and 2 lpls or large lasers in the arm?

i run my 733P with 2 ER PPC and an MRM-40 with a LAMS. sadly had to strip the JJ but it still works well
the only other Highlander i have is the Heavy Metal and i have it loaded with and LB/10, and MRM-40, and 3 MLs, and an AMS (this one got to keep 2 JJs)
