OK look, this is incoherent. Other people do not have this problem with stealth lights and I'm telling you what to do in order to counter them. I need you to express yourself coherently so we can figure out the problem here.
What kind of mech were you using when the stealth locust killed you?
Incoherent? do not getting DATA on something does not mean there is not DATA on that object.
It is you are not observing it.
Maybe install a check filter on chats for words Lights, IMBA, etc???
Simpler is nothing to get the "Incoherence" ...............
As told I have only Multi-role Mechs.
Exactly to come by the bad programig or the coding SINCE THE BEGINNING OF MWO (ok not founding but since then).
The seed if this error seems long set from those times.
Make a voting all Mech-Owner out of.
Easy scientifically approach!
Then you can have your incoherence summed out!

We used to have streaks to counter these until they got nerfed.

No, I'm saying it's incoherent because your way of communicating is incoherent. You seem to be making ten points at once and none at all. I need you to type in complete sentences and stop capitalizing random words.
Like this sequence:
"Maybe install a check filter on chats for words Lights, IMBA, etc???
Simpler is nothing to get the "Incoherence" ..............."
is basically gibberish, I'm sorry.
So I'll ask again. You say you have only Multi-Role Mechs. I asked you for the specific mech/build you were using when the stealth Locust killed you, but I'll assume this means you're using what are called bracket builds. These are builds that mix so many weapons systems that they can fight at any range -- but, crucially, fight poorly at any range.
When you're fighting a stealth Locust, it's going to be carrying 4E and 2B weapons at most, so something like four ML/SPL/SL and two MG/LMG/HMG. This is an extremely small amount of firepower. Assuming no survivability tree, it's going to have 28 total HP on its side torsos, which is something like half of a good alpha from a properly-built mech in this game.
The problem here is some combination of these factors:
1. You're not hitting the locust with a significant percentage of your alpha
2. Your mech is built poorly and cannot deliver a significant alpha
3. You cannot see or track them (one bit of advice is that stealth lights are extremely difficult to see in heat vision, so switch to normal or night vision depending on the map)
I can tell you right now that, on their own, stealth lights are not particularly scary to players who know how to deal with them. I'm giving you advice here on how to deal with them. Which of the above two factors in your experience has been the most difficult to deal with?

I don't need good advice, I need convenient coding in the game!
NO MECH MUST DO ALPHA DAMAGE!!!
AND the ALPHA of any Weapon is in POINT BLANK. EXCEPT PPC!
ANY LIGHT near nearly any Mech-feet have to be pulverized leg arm or torso! NOT HAPPENING!
You can also implement a code to check Matches with Lights on imbalance.
The results must be frightening to see how match changes with lights survival rating, which should not be fall in a standard curve!
1. Its not only ME shooting, nealry every other Mech shooting also does not hit.
2. Any MECH with 3 to 4 Pulse should Alpha a Light in that range.
So no it is not Alpha issue.
3. I CAN NOT TAG or Target THEM when I counter ECM. That's insane.
The only meaning is:
ECM + Stealth Armor = 2x ECM
If that is so, THEN WRITE IT, then all is okay. P2W Mechs in nearly every match so I can quit the game ones more!
I have over 2000 Games to play. Just one word is enough. Then I am not going to invest to buy the Tanatos-Hero.

Alpha in this case refers to how much damage the mech does when firing all its weapons. So I don't know what you mean by no mech must do alpha damage. Are you saying no mech should be able to fire all its weapons at once?
For your second point, I'm completely lost. IIRC the only weapons which have a hard minimum range are HPPCs, ISLRMs, and ATMs. IS PPCs were recently changed to do fractional damage below minimum range.
Again, I need you to calm down and communicate exactly what you mean. You can't do this by yelling.

Seriously though, lights are the worst weight class in the game. You'll get beaten with a barbed stick. Have fun.
The process will also teach you how to counter lights in general (with point and click function).

If you’re having trouble targeting a stealth mech with lock on weapons, try bringing a single LPPC which will disable the stealth effect if you hit

That was an error to hear to my friend for a return. Thoug it is really nicer now, I am tired of this kind of illogical stubbornness holding to a position, even when all now its a guts-hold-term than a logical which must be come by to develop further.
I think i get again the interesting Mechs and quit again.
If it lives in 1-2 years after good, may return to test.
ELSE THERE HAS BEEN THE BEST GAME WHICH IS GONE "MOON BREAKER" and see, I am still alive after the great wine and cry ....

The issue is that the TAG needs to hold on the target for about a second or so to start working, and then only lasts for a few seconds once you lose focus. It's not a method for negating stealth armor entirely, it's a method for warning the rest of your team about the presence and current location of a stealth light. If you're not on comms saying "TAG'd a stealth light, [Grid coordinates], assist if able", then yes - the TAG won't do spit for you.
Also? Slow down. Breathe. Take a deep, calming breath. I get that you're mad, but you're also babbling like an asylum inmate right now. If you're trying to make a point, nobody can understand it. Settle down and try to communicate more effectively.
Also Mk. II: stealth Thanatos are ever so much worse than stealth lights. Stealth lights have to get within ***-wiping range to deal damage to you, which means you can easily see them with Seismic or with the ol' Mark I Model 0 human eyeball. They're armed with flashy, easy-to-see lasers that point right back to them. That mud-colored stealth Thanatos nine hundred meters away firing nearly invisible Gauss slugs from what may as well be the Moon for all you can trace them back to their source? Yeah. That guy can eat a satchel charge stuffed with {Richard Cameron}. Holy hell I hate hunting that basshole down...

Buddy, people have given you good advice about how to deal with stealth mechs in this thread. You just keep insisting that instead of following this advice PGI should change the entire codebase because you’re *sad*
You will essentially never see stealth mechs in competitive play and their effectiveness decreases DRAMATICALLY in higher tiers where, instead of freaking out and crying, players just use their eyeballs and shoot the stealth lights. They’re not in any way OP, you just have your ears stopped up.

Lights are pretty strong at lower tiers. My Spider 5V alt with 1 LPL is averaging 400MS right now. If OP is coming across smurf accounts then he might well have been pushed to Time Cube levels of incoherent all-caps ranting.
OP my advice to you: if you see low signal, or are shot in the back, immediately tell your team. Call out your grid square and use the command wheel to request help. The command wheel help option causes your minimap icon to flash as well so your team mates can see who needs assistance. Next, put your back to the wall and keep calm. As you search for your enemy make sure you always keep your torso moving, this will help prevent backstabs from connecting entirely with one location of your 'Mech, thus increasing your chance of survival. Always aim for the legs of stealth 'Mechs, agility is the *only* advantage they have. While in stealth mode they heat up very quickly, so if you leg a stealth 'Mech they won't be able to run away and cool down. The damage per second done by a stealthed 'Mech is very low - once you have them in front of you, your armour is likely to prevent anything significantly bad from happening to you.

Now you're makin' sense. The Hangover is a meme bot at best, but it won't do anything to help you hit a Pirate's Bane or any other stealth mech. Though if they took away the minimum range on rockets...
