Is there a way to prevent connecting to Oceanic Servers? I'm in North America and I'm lucky if I have a ping of 250 when connected to them. It makes playing almost impossible because you lag so badly that you can't fight as soon as you get into the fight. If you're in a light mech or fighting a light mech then you're screwed as you or the mech you're fighting will randomly jump around.

I do that with the EU servers.. 400 ping time is bad. My game play has gotten better since i did that.

Yes, to high of ping sucks.. where i live now i can't play on oceanic servers either, i get major issues. I can kill a mech and it wont register on my side for about a .5 sec. Might not sound like much but it's huge. I hope my ISP upgrades soon lol
I notice it can also effect hitreg and the HSR, so it's worth it to uncheck if you have to high of ping somewhere.

Unless you're getting massive packet loss, Hit State Rewind in MWO is good enough that 250-300ms latency is fine to play on.

250-300ms is the standard for me, but you can just click off the servers you don't want to connect to.
