Thanks for the free Warhammer and the Free Worlds Legionnaires livery. Finally one pattern I really like ...




And by the way, could you create the Free Worlds Legionnaires brigade decal to go with the pattern, please?

I highly recommend using the ingame event menu to claim your prizes. I use the web browser, but it doesn't give the the notification that the prizes were injected, but they are in fact, there for me.

I second this thought about the FWL-related Decal because of the "Hoplite Comb" Bolt-On which is provided for completing the corresponding Challenge called "The Phalanx" on the Event's roster. It really would only be proper and fitting to introduce it.

Heck, it makes me wonder why martian did not include the Bolt-On in their screenshot. I think it could have helped the proposal, but maybe that's just me.

I think that Matt Newman handles Photoshop tasks.

Well, I usually do not equp my 'Mechs with Bolt-ons, unless they fit to the 'Mech (like Radars, etc.), but in this particular case ...

It actually fits to the "theme" of the unit. You had a good idea.

Well, 40 kills or KMDDs is not that much to get a heavy 'Mech. One month is more than enough to get those 40 kills, and those 4 wins are easy to achieve.

That's just for the optional livery. If you are not a fan of the Free Worlds League, you do not need that pattern so much.

Finally completed the Event here, with a little over 10 Days left to spare. Things were not anywhere near easy, particularly for the Camo Pattern item, and got me worrying for a little bit that I would fail to complete that part, if not more pieces of the whole puzzle. Any which way, at least it is done, and I am thankful to have it ready for unpacking. So, to those in PGI's Staff who set this 2021 September WHM-6R Event up for the player base to complete and earn from, you have my thanks.

I think my only Challenge left now in regards to this Event is figuring out an appropriate label for reminding myself how the Mech came to be in my possession.

Came back to MWO at the end of September, saw the September event, hurried up and ground my way through most of the objectives before October struck, only to realize the September event goes halfway through October. Doh! I should have read the fine print.

Just change the name of your Warhammer ...

1. Log into the game and click the yellow pencil sign.



2. Delete the original designation.



3. Enter your 'Mech's designation.




4. That's it. Now your 'Mech sports the nickname that you gave it.

Thank you for posting that instruction set on how to give one's owned Mechs a name. It makes a good refresher for most players, and should help newer players out there who wondered what that Pencil Icon is for. In fact, you might wish to make a Guide over in the "Training Grounds > New Player Help > Guides & Strategies" Board's area (https://mwomercs.com/forums/forum/94-guides-strategies/), and get it pinned for all eternity. Just make sure to tell the newbies that there is only a meager 12 Character Limit which they can use, please!


As for me, it's not as much how to do this as I personally know what one has to do, being as I have done it before. My own problem happens to be trying to think of what choice of name label which I want on the Mech in the future. Sorry for the miscommunication!

Since this whole event is a play on the Warhammer 40K exodus, I decided to dub mine "Refugee." If that's not up your alley, you can always go for something cheesy like "40Kerensky" or so
