Hi all, I am looking at getting the VKB Gladiator NXT Premium for MW5 Mercs. Is it worth getting a throttle for the left hand aswell and would I need rudder pedals for torso twist?

i like using throttle and pedals and those are definitely nice to have. i have a stick but i never use it, opting to use a mouse instead.

now this stick looks nice, but i have never used one so i cant say if its good or not. google searches for best joysticks 2021 is alarmingly sparse. the same 4 sticks keep coming up, and the only one of those ive been interested in is the warthog. but there are a lot of obscure sticks (like the one you are asking about) that have some very interesting capabilities.

im using some 15+ year old ch pro throttle, pedals, and fighterstick that i only keep using because it hasn't broke yet. not an endorsement unless you want a stick that will last 15+ years, as they are very low tech by todays standards, all use potentiometers and 8-bit sampling and are built out of injection molded abs plastic.

just remember you are probibly going to need to write your own hotas.remap file to get it to work. joystick support in this game is cringeworthy at best. and when you get it to work its kind of disappointing.
