Yeah, but it sucks when you tell the team to go left and nobody does it. Going left always works well when you spawn on junkyard side if the team actually does it.

My favorite is when what should be an experienced group ignores the call, and then comments on your inability to hold the left side by yourself. Kind of a DERPy move, IMO.

As a fatty, going left works if your team does it. If the team nascars, you are almost guaranteed to get flanked by lights and then overran by mediums while you try to shoo away the lights.

It is worse than that.
What happens now is North team (junkyard) always goes center while South team goes right from their spawn. Even the Heavies and Assaults overrun the rear of North team at center and usually North team gets rolled. The new Canyon tactic replacing NASCAR.
That wall with no ramps helps South team a lot. Try pulling it on Hibernal, the ramps on the same wall prevent South team from succeeding with this tactic as much.

So... what you're saying... is that there's a place on Canyon Network where the snipers are just BEGGING to be left behind by their team and picked to pieces by flanking light mechs? Sounds great!

i like the sniper vs squirrel power struggle dynamic. its kind of replacing the squirrel vs assault relationship leaving assaults free to shoot other large mechs rather than having to work around the squirrels all the time. unless of course sniper assault. whatever gets people into the fight.
