I decided to give painting minis a try. Previously I basicly just slaped any kind of color I found on them... a single color, a centimeter thick so you can't see any details.

Now I am trying it a bit more serious but I still need to learn a lot and...anyway here is a picture of what I have at the moment.

Decided to train with my old plastic minis before I go over to the tin (?) minis...well except the one in the middle. Just wanted to see how the paint reacts to the different underground.

Left side mechs I tried to do the "Raider" camo pattern
Right side was inspired by the "Clan collection" pattern.

Thanks you. I just love the Marauder design, all of them.
Beside the 3 old plastic ones from above I also have an old Marauder IIC (tin).

I realy hope that my vendor finds the new Catalyst releases or that there will be a re-release of the new Marauder models (Marauder and Marauder II)
Also wish I could get the MWO Marauders (Marauder, Marauder II and Marauder IIC) as minis for the board.

Next batch of the same pattern. Slowly my company takes shape.

Marauders! I always loved them, they were the IS mech for me just like the Summoners were the synonym of the clans.

Yah Marauders are cool...looking. Some of them where freaking hot

As for synonyms...for me its the Timberwolf but mostly because it was the first mech encountered.
Else I am more the Warhawk guy.

So that first companie is done...well until I figure out how to improve these. Its a long road, it seams, from watching people do awesome stuff to doing it yourself

Anyway I made a testplay with someone new to Battletech and I was kinda happy how they look like when watched from playing distance.

Next batch of MWO inspired Mechs...this time its the K9 force / Police. Sadly I don't have an Urbi to go along with these.

Made some progress 57 of 80 painted (Not counting the protomechs, will most likely repaint them too or leave them as they are...not sure yet)

So I finaly painted all my Mechs and put them side by side. Damn that is a lot more then I originaly intendet to do when I started. Just wanted to paint my tin mechs (about 12 mechs) and ended with more like 95 Mechs, 32 BAs, 4 Tanks and 5 Proto-Mechs.
