At the height of the worlds tournament, which people have pledged money to support, I do not see any update on the MWO website congratulating the top 12 teams in the mwo world. Instead of congratulating teams on all the hard work and dedication they have put into this game the top story is MWO Code of Conduct stuff. At least a link with the tourny info on it so people can see the brackets and when to tune in to watch would be beneficial i believe to everyone. The competitive scenes in multiplayer games generally help people stay interested and concerned with the well being of the game. Just a thought, I mean its the most relevant bit of content pgi has released, other than the map updates, in my opinion so to not showcase it and put some lime light on it is a missed opportunity. Like myself others have poured hours and hours of preparation and training to make it even into the top 12 would be cool to see pgi recognize that a bit.

2019 guy.

Yeah PGI is pretty quiet. It's just the skeleton crew now. Maybe they are just letting MWO die out.

It maybe higher valued for the players to have developers encourage the vitality of the videogame or next coming projects.
Or just remove the old posts and replace with new ones. It doesn't take much else than a weekend once a month. It is a better way to keep community live than using ads, which most by now have subconsious created an inside adblocker. perhaps if the community was open inside the videogame and part of the main hub it would made it easier to keep the forum occupied. If a part of the screen allowed to open the forum without leaving the game. Or else the forum itself has no actual meaning. Data shows what weapons are most used and what mech losses most battles. The progress of MWO is a stall as new projects is closing in to replace the old. I think that once the IP contract is expired the competiton either expire MWO or another company buys it all up, since the hype for mecha is low and with the disaster of the frontmission spinoff Left Alive , the western mecha is left untouched by a few brave souls on the market. It maybe gain the KOTOR redemption arc, I doubt it since this is not EA. What many want is a simple game with an interactive world. Yes, MWO should gain by having some fantasy into it like splash effects causing new floors of lava or Mechwarrior rpg with a hub who is connected to the mech bay, trade their mechs with players and join groups or play minigames to increase a skill. The minigames provide a way to connect to new friends and the hub becomes a way to create new groups.

The developer, If there is one is a part time worker.
