Comms Not Working

For some reason when I play with speakers I can not hear the VOIP comms but if I plug in headsets I can.

And I can't hear anything with my wireless headset at all although every other program works fine with them.

As far as I know I have everything enabled in the settings, if it was a setting issue I'd think it would or wouldn't work across the board.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Have you rebooted your computer?
And any changes made in MWO on sound, once saved you would need to log completely out of MWO and back in.

As for only hearing VOIP via headset, do you hear regular game sounds via speakers? And when you plug in the headset, it is both game and VOIP or just VOIP?

You would need to check with your window settings. I have my system setup to play game sounds via speakers, leaving VOIP for headset.

Check what the Playback Mode and Playback Device are set to in the audio settings.

This. Default settings can sometimes glitch out. Set the device to the dedicated device you are using.
