Since it just came up somewhere else. Sometimes it feels like "Solo Q" is understood as "I go solo, what team?"

Maybe Solo Q isn't the right name for a game that is still played with a team of 12 randoms but still revolves around teamplay.

I mean 12 people that somewhat play together, even if they are randoms, will outmatch 12 people going solo.

Going with higher tier matches this is an unspoken rule it seams.
People look at the map and what others do and act acordingly while more lower tier matches seam to suffer from people just doing their thing.

I mean its a bit of a far stretch but could a renaming of "Solo Q" to "Random team" actualy influance the mindset of people entering the match...at least newer players. Old players know very well what they are getting into or at least they should

Solo Q, Soup Q, Group Q, all these aren't even official terms (client-wise) the Game mode is Quickplay.

Oh sh... I am so used to Solo Q that I actualy thought it whats its says......

Okay never mind. Can someone call ComStar to move this post at the very bottom of the forums

Its quite simply the "Quick Play Queue" with Solo Players and Teams up tp four.

PS: And all game modes are "KKND"!

If your Quick Play Queue team works as an actual team, it is a nice bonus.

But it is definitely nothing that you can rely on.
