Thought I'd start a topic where we can showcase some of PGI's cool graphical artwork.. and even your own added touches using decals and colour schemes. Many times little details go unnoticed and among my favourites is the FIREBRAND. I think this camo with the colours I've used just gives it mean look and (hopefully) makes you wanna stay out of it's way.. the little sayings that go unnoticed on this guy are pretty funny.. the three 6's on the front are pretty evident (as are the 6's in roman numerals on the side of the arm) but.. 'One Way' with a down arrow on the front right side might go unnoticed. 'Stay Warm' on the back.. On the camo's pitchforks I forked some lovelies that someone evil might wanna torture and have his way with. Anyone know what the spray paint says on the top of head? Best I can make out is 'Diabolic'? I'm really curious..

It was a bit tricky but to post images I used imgur and used the 'image' icon in the editor here to link each photo INDIVIDUALLY to make it work..

Looking forward to seeing your camo's and pointing out some little-noticed PGI touches..

Some of the camo patterns are just awesome on their own without embellishment. (Pun intended. )

That is pretty sweet looking.. first thing I thought when I saw your Awesome: Royal Guard.

Something I do to my Awesome's is add Christmas light decals to the eyes to give em this look:

I don't use any decals on my mechs and instead paint them a combination of greys and blacks to they blend in better on most maps.

I did a goofy diorama of a Stinger like that back in the tabletop days. Loading dock, grey and yellow striped walls. Stinger had the exact same pattern, hiding against the wall. Wish I still had it to photograph.

When playing my stealth mechs I enjoy the fact that hpg manifold comes up so often. Mechs looking directly at you at close range can't see you as long as you are in a good spot.

But I guess this is a tramp stamp thread so I need to stop derailing it. Good looking artwork so far and it makes for easier targeting too!

It also pays to know which mechs look dead sexy in what camo schemes. Tartan isn't for every mech (its sadly bland on my Highlanders, for example), but the Marauder is one that really rocks it.



Don't forget the warhammer too. Rock that bagpipe warhorn!

You are so right! I never got that camo to look anything but wimpy on everything.. I do use it but I've had to resort to using the same colour for two of the three colour nodes to get rid of the plaid sweater look.. but I gotta say, on that Marauder it looks pretty sharp!

Pick a head any head.. not sure what people think when they see this brawler comin at them but hopefully it makes them hesitate or get distracted enough to ruin their aim.. Face decals also double to disguise my weapon loadout..

Here is one I made while ago... For everyone that does not know how to deal with a LRM boat (there might still be some people who don't know it out there)
The decals are flipped an mirror printed on the outside of the missile doors, so they become readable when the doors open up.
