So I've currently been using the beta galaxy scheme because it seemed simpler to do (I already had the colours) and they have a cool name (Predator Galaxy)) but I'm thinking of playing around with the schemes on my mech, so I was wonder whichscheme do you think looks the best, which do you think would look nicer in game, which screams Clan Diamond Shark to you? Also I noticed the flag they added is a really pale blue so I was wonder if MWO had its own scheme or something for the clan.

Alpha - Dark blue with black trim

Beta - Dark blue and green
Posted Image

Gamma - Dark green with blue and silver accenting
Posted Image

Zeta - Green accented with dark blue and white
Posted Image

Lambda - Blue and silver
Posted Image

Rho - Blue-gray with iridescent accents
Posted Image

Sigma - Aquamarine with blue and green accents
Posted Image

Omega - Dark green with blood-red accents

Camo patterns in MWO are kind of anything goes. Certain faction play units have colors and schemes, but faction play is a dying art.

I think if you want to stand out and be proud while rocking a canonical paint scheme, beta or omega are your best options of the ones you’ve presented, and sprinkle on the right decals. Just steer clear of the dark greens and dark blues, as they are common and people will notice them less.

Yeah I was doing beta before, colour I was using was Manganese and Jade Falcon Green.

Atm my mech looks like this, I thought the blue with lighter blue and polygon camo made it look like the sea in which the diamond shark lives in, can easily swap out one of the colours for a green though.

Beta Galaxy

Simply because I read a cool BattleTech story about two MechWarriors from that unit. Posted Image

Your choice, really. Posted Image

Use the camo that you like the most.

I'm a stickler for following lore and stuff, I get enjoyment out of it even though its kind of restrictive.

MWO does not offer much when it comes to the BattleTech lore. Posted Image

yeah I know, but I'm read some battletech novels and stuff and I read as much on sarna as I could, so in mwo I try to stick to mechs the state/clan would have in its arsenal as well as colour schemes etc.

It is pretty sad, since the original PGI's plan was to advance simultaneously one day in the real world and one day in MWO - with in-universe "news", etc. Posted Image

Yeah, I followed the lore on Northwind Highlanders.. right up until MWO released the tartan camo and the bagpipe warhorn. And then I’m like… well if you insist!

Try cobalt, or perhaps Prussian. Ghost bear blue is too bright for that, but might be a good high contrast color.

Just got into mech lab and looked. Forget Prussian, it’s a little too dark as well. Manganese.

I got Manganese and Cobalt, cause some of the mechs look to light with Manganese or the armour looks a little weird, thanks :)

This is a mixture of cobalt, manganese and ghost bear blue. Also wanted to keep missiles but it wasn't feasible cause they just kept getting shot off and they were awkward to use.

Would be my go to.

Looks good! Remember you can color the shark face decal too, if bright white isn’t quite what you want.

If I want to be beta galaxy I had to drop out the ghost bear blue for some green, still looks ok but not as good as the three shades of blue imo.
